Job Description & Duties
RF design, support and verification testing on radio systems including antennas and monitor and control systems

• Creation of sites and neighbours (both UTRAN and GSM)
• Provide full technical expertise to Back Office / Suppliers / Engineers for TX migration, carrier upgrades and new site integration activities on 2G, 3G, 4G and SecGW changes for Ericsson, NSN and Huawei Nodes
• Responsible for the end to end delivery of TX Migration (IPVPN Sites), new integration, carrier upgrades and software upgrades project
• Full support on fault finding and pre-check activities
• Configuration of IP based networks on RNC and BSC
• Commissioning and Integration of Direct Ethernet sites
• Creating and defining VLANs and IPNB on the RNC and Node

Minimum Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
You must:

• be educated to a technical degree level (Masters preferred);
• have hands on working experience on BSC/ RNC/OSS with Node-B TRS, commissioning file generation and execution;
• Experience in GMS/ UMTS/WCDMA Correct RNC/BTS/Node-B faults and performance degradations in the network;
• Understand Protocol analysis and call flow messaging, protocol analyzer setup and output, as well as the parameters for Air interface algorithms (Power control / Admission control / Handover control etc.);
• beSelf-motivated and ability to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills both written and verbal. Reliability and strong organizational skills are a must;
• have ability to prioritize multiple task to completion, work independently, complete tasks successfully and strong attention to detail;
• have an understanding of networking and the following; TCP/IP, helpdesk, trouble ticketing, SLA’s;
• have exposure to wireless technologies (4G LTE, RAN, M2000, Ericsson OSS, Nokia Netact) is desirable.
• Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and a learning attitude is essential for this role.
